I owe him a debt. The kind money can’t repay.
He wants something else: me, for one year.
But I don’t even know who he is…
365 days and nights doing everything he wants…except that.
“I’m not going to sleep with you,” I say categorically.
He laughs.
“I’m going to make you a promise,” his eyes challenge mine. “Before our time is up, you’ll beg me for it.”

  • Another adventure

Another adventure with Olive and Nicholas but they bring Owen along with them. This book has drama, suspense, twists and turns, the FBI, robbery, fighting, and chemistry. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and gave my honest opinion.

$5 for this? Nothing happens! Wow, they meet....It’s true how boring this book is. Read the synapsis and buy the 2nd book.

Long story short - you pay for about 5 chapters of a book that is so boring. Nothing happens in this book that isn’t predictable. Save your money

  • Worst book I have ever read

    By fallonfalls
It was terrible. It was not worth the money. And also some of the parts didn’t even fit right, and it gave weird details that really didn’t need to be said too. DONT BUY THIS BOOK. It was a good idea but it was really just drawn out, all the stuff could have fit in one book.

OH MY GOODNESS... I can’t even form the words to say about this book. I do know one thing, I will definitely will not be saying STOP anytime soon. I am so excited about Nick and Olive... their chemistry is so electric and has captured the very heart of all that they come into contact. Including myself. I’m so looking forward to seeing more. I voluntarily received an advanced copy of this book and any opinions expressed within this review are solely and uniquely made by me and I am happily leaving this review.

This book is the first in the Tell Me series. Charlotte Byrd has created another fantastic read with a roller coaster story that grabs you from the first page. The plot contains drama, mystery, suspense, and romance. The characters (Olive and Nicholas) have incredible chemistry. I could not put this book down until the end which is a cliffhanger. I’m anxious to read the second book in this series which will be released in September. Charlotte’s writing is always creative, unpredictable, and addictive! This book is well worth the purchase price. I received an ARC copy of this book in return for an honest and voluntary review.
  • A bit of a slow start but then...

This book is the beginning of a new series by Charlotte Byrd. I’ve enjoyed reading all her books (She’s one of my favorite authors). I received it as an ARC. The story’s an interesting one, Olivia Kernes is a college student. She and Sydney, her roommate, live in Boston. Boston’s expensive and with her rent and student loans payments due, Olive finds herself in a tight situation. Then, out of the blue she gets a check covering all her student loans. It’s from a Mr. Crawford. She’s confounded and shows the check to Sydney. Then the two of them go back and forth with the “Who’s Crawford? Is it real and what do they want for it?” They can’t figure it out. Olive finally decides to go to the bank. She presents the large check and is promptly greeted by one of the bank’s officers who thanks her for her business. It appears the check is good so Olive pays off all her student loan debt. A few days later she gets another letter, this one giving her an all expenses paid vacation to Hawaii. Olive helps her sick mom as much as she can despite the fact that her mom gives her grief about happenings years before, a pregnancy and it’s fallout (Mom and Dad are very Catholic.). Mom’s nosey. She snoops and finds the letter offering the free vacation which she delightedly burns in front of Olive. Why should she have a free vacation. Fortunately for Olive because of rereading the letter so many times, she’d memorized the entire letter. Olive decides to take her vacation and finds that Sydney is accompanying her to watch out for her friend. Upon arriving in Hawaii they’re brought to a beautiful home where Olive is asked to wait for Mr. Crawford. After waiting a bit she takes off on her own to see the beach and injures her leg. She’s helped by a very nice surfer and returns to await her meeting with Mr. Crawford. There’s dinner and a party and still no meeting so she returns to her room in a huff, takes out a book and goes to bed. She’s awakened by Mr. Crawford’s assistant Amelia and told the meeting is happening “ Now.” Olive refuses to get up and the next person to come to her door turns out to be the actual Nicholas Crawford, the surfer who helped her earlier. They agree to meet for dinner the next day. At dinner Nicholas tells Olive that he wants repayment for his gift. She owes him 365 nights/days. He has his reasons which he explains. The two are very attracted to each. There’s a $1,000,000.00 offer, a retreat to home, more problems from an ungrateful mother, gangsters, more debt. Nicholas has the fix, a Game. Olive wants to know exactly what the game is. There’s steam involved. The story really starts to move from here. It took a while to really draw me into this one which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars. I look forward to more about Nicholas’s ultimate game.
