Using the suggested outline for prayers in behalf of others is very helpful, the faithful and thankful approach taught is refreshing in comparison to simply hopefully making a list of desires. Philippians 4:6 reminds us to make our request known faithfully thanking as though it has already been answered

This book brought forth a new method of prayer that is both practical and profound. I learned something today. Something that I will use for the rest of my life. Amen.
  • Good Info, but....

The Bible says specifically to Ask and it shall be given unto you, Seek and you shall find, Knock and it shall be opened. So, I beg to differ that asking means we are doubting. Asking is a form of respect as well, just as we ask our natural parents for things. I'm not familiar with associating my emotions with anything other than myself and how certain things made me feel or how they would make God feel and that would drive my specific prayers. Overall, I see and understand the point made.
